Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, based in the Asheville area, is seeking a Process Quality Engineering leader responsible for ensuring control plans meet customer requirements across the product value stream. You will develop quality controls, perform root cause analysis, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with autonomy.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience or an advanced degree with 5 years, US citizenship, and strong knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of related experience or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
• US Citizenship is required due to government contract.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience with quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality control strategies and systemic controls with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Leadership.
• Analyze and present data to support quality improvements.
• Lead efforts to expand FAA & AS9100 scope and maintain compliance.
• Drive DMAIC and Lean initiatives to reduce defects and costs.
• Provide technical guidance on non-conforming material through MRB processes.
• Communicate policies and practices effectively across teams.
