Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Process Maintenance Mechanic in Valmy, NV. The role supports maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime across fixed plant and crushing systems, with 4 ten-hour shifts schedule.

You will inspect, repair, and maintain pumps, crushers, conveyors, and related equipment, while adhering to safety and environmental policies. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in fixed plant or crusher maintenance, plus welding skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years fixed plant and/or crusher maintenance experience.
• Fabrication and welding skills preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and maintenance manuals.
• English communication and safety compliance essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities on fixed plant and crushing systems.
• Utilize work order system for preventative maintenance and parts replacement.
• Perform inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks.
• Repair pumps, crushers, conveyors; fabricate and weld as needed.
• Order parts and ensure environmental and safety compliance.
