Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Process Electrician to join our milling and processing operations in the United States.

The role reports to the Process Electrical Supervisor and typically works four 10‑hour shifts from 6am to 4pm Monday through Thursday, maintaining equipment and minimizing downtime through planned maintenance scheduling. You will test and troubleshoot electrical systems across process plant, assay and lab areas, maintain PLCs and motor control circuits, and uphold safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years electrical experience in a mining/process environment.
• Own and maintain required personal tools.
• MSHA electrical cards preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs area housekeeping duties.
• Test defective equipment using voltmeters and ammeters.
• Lead safety practices in all maintenance work.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance strategy.
• Perform work area inspections and ensure safe conditions.
• Conduct Field Level Risk Assessments.
• Interpret schematics and manuals for repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems across process plant, assay & lab, and related areas.
• Maintain PLC, motor control circuits, and HV cable integrity.
• Ensure compliance with contamination control policies and environmental practices.
