CyberCoders is seeking a Project Engineer to support process piping and mechanical construction projects in Southern California. This role offers exposure to project management, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and field operations alongside experienced construction professionals.

The position targets candidates with 2+ years in similar roles and experience in process piping and related facilities, with a strong grasp of construction docs and workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience supporting mechanical, industrial, process piping, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, manufacturing, or MEP construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and project workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the execution of process piping and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
• Support procurement activities, including material tracking and vendor coordination.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Track project progress and assist with schedule updates and reporting.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure work is progressing according to project requirements.
• Support contract administration and change management efforts.
• Assist with project forecasting, reporting, and risk management activities.
