Job summary

Murray Company Mechanical Contractors in Cypress, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Industrial division supporting mechanical and piping projects across aviation, water treatment, and power plant markets.

You will work with veteran project managers, assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling, and help deliver projects on time and within scope. Travel around greater Southern California is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of progressive project engineering experience at a mechanical contractor.
• Proficiency in construction software and enterprise tools (Excel, MS Project, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning work schedules and manpower.
• Coordinate project personnel to keep on schedule and budget.
• Identify and help resolve scheduling problems and interferences.
• Prepare letters, memos, and reports as required.
• Oversee day-to-day administrative items per supervisor.
• Produce special reports and data analyses on request.
