Job summary

AIRCO is seeking a Process Operator for its New Britain, PA production facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation 24/7. Operator III is entry-level in AIRCO's three-level progression, working on assigned process systems, monitoring conditions, and responding to alarms under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, data recording, and collaboration with maintenance and shift teams to maintain uptime and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read SOPs, safety procedures, and process documentation.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in loud industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment per SOPs and supervisor directions.
• Monitor process conditions using control systems and instruments.
• Conduct rounds, collect samples, inspect for leaks or deviations.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions following SOPs.
• Record shift data, notes, and run information.
• Perform clear shift handovers and escalate safety concerns.
• Support basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks when trained.
