Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, Ohio seeks an Independent Process Operator for the 2nd shift to perform complex changeovers and troubleshooting. You will diagnose and resolve non-routine issues, perform routine set-ups, and monitor quality to ensure smooth operation.

You will identify defects, document findings, and coordinate with supervision to meet production schedules while adhering to safety data sheets for chemical handling. A high school diploma is required; experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Processing experience preferred or related aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow standard work instructions.
• Recognize functional and cosmetic defects.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex process changeovers and troubleshoot non-routine problems.
• Identify quality issues and determine root cause; document defects.
• Use machine controls to set up and adjust processes.
• Notify supervision if capacity is not met and manage order flow.
• Identify and label chemicals using Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
