Job summary

Swagelok in Valley City, Ohio is seeking an Auxiliary Operator who will perform a range of basic to complex auxiliary operations and support process flow on the line. The role involves setup of routine parts, minimal trainer assistance, adherence to quality standards, and participation in lean activities.

The successful candidate will have a High school diploma and at least 12 months of related experience. Good mechanical aptitude is preferred, with readiness to work in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience before advancement to Independent Auxiliary Operator.
• Good mechanical skills aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to use skills introduced to perform basic, moderate and complex auxiliary operations.
• Set up and operate routine parts on standard equipment with minimal assistance.
• Follow quality guidelines and product segregation procedures.
• Understand and support lean efforts including 5S visual display and related metrics.
• Recognize and comply with Swagelok procedures.
