Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH seeks a production associate on 2nd shift to run production, maintain quality, and follow standard work processes. You will make tooling adjustments, load materials, perform start-stop procedures, and document data as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong math skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Makes accurate tooling adjustments and maintains operation of machining equipment.
• Performs start-stop procedures including machine start-up and loading of raw material.
• Performs adjustments to tooling and fixtures within prescribed limits.
• Completes all records and data entry as required.
• Checks machined parts visually and dimensionally according to quality standards.
• Cleans chips and maintains safety practices.
• Recognizes and reports machine malfunctions to supervisor.
• Performs preventative machine maintenance.
• Suggests process improvements to improve operations.
• Housekeeping and upkeep of work center.
• Follows Swagelok procedures.
