Pinnacle Polymers, LLC, a privately owned polypropylene manufacturing facility, invites applications for a Process Operator I in Garyville, LA. The role entails operating in the Extruder area, performing startup/shutdown of pumps and compressors, and ensuring safe plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing as a Process Operator, with an Associate Degree in Process Technology or equivalent, and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in process tech or manufacturing field.
• 1–3 years of process operator experience in manufacturing.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift including weekends/holidays.
• Able to work at heights and wear PPE including respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Extruder area and perform safe startup, operation, and shutdown of pumps and compressors.
• Take rounds, readings, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Stage and load product mix additives per production schedule.
• Monitor field operations and ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized production areas and assist with training.
• Perform other duties as needed.
