Job summary

Braskem America seeks a Process Operator in Marcus Hook, PA to run polypropylene production lines with strict adherence to safety and process standards. The role supports maintenance coordination, product transfers, and data logging.

The successful candidate will operate basic control systems, monitor process readings, and assist with troubleshooting and quality assurance. OT may be required; strong teamwork and a proactive safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift operation ability required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends/holidays.
• Basic computer skills to operate SharePoint and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operates plant machinery and equipment to produce polypropylene.
• Follows safety procedures and operating standards.
• Monitors control systems and records readings.
• Identifies equipment needing maintenance and coordinates permits.
• Performs light maintenance and equipment prep for maintenance.
• Assists in product transfers and scheduling.
• Communicates with shift teammates and supports junior operators.
• Maintains logs and completes required paperwork.
