Job summary

Dow seeks an Associate Operator in Seadrift, Texas to operate and troubleshoot assigned plant areas within a 24-hour operation. You will work 12-hour rotating shifts day and night, maintain process equipment, monitor conditions, and support safety and environmental stewardship.

The role requires a high school diploma and an associate degree in Process Technology or equivalent, plus 3+ years of related experience or military service. Dow offers strong benefits and a focus on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; associates degree or higher in Process Technology or related field.
• Military experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of Operations Technician experience in chemical/oil/gas or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and field check process equipment and monitor conditions.
• Follow safety and operating discipline to ensure reliable plant performance.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Support root cause investigations and process improvements.
• Work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts in a 24-hour operation.
• Operate and manage multiple plant control systems.
