Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of progressive process mechanical engineering and project delivery experience with water, wastewater and/or industrial treatment.
• Educational emphasis on treatment/mechanical system design and operation.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of pumping, treatment, and process options to determine best approaches.
• Communicate complex problems and solutions with clients.
• Plan and design for full-scale pumping, treatment systems, and treatment plant improvements.
• Develop facility layouts and P&IDs.
• Develop construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Evaluate and select process equipment, pumping systems, pipes, and valves.
• Data analysis and computer modeling.
• Technical report writing.
• Bidding and permitting support.
• Field inspection of treatment/mechanical equipment.
