Job description

We are seeking a Process Manager to join our talented Supply Chain team in Freeport, ME. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring standardized processes are adopted across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build product development calendars for all business categories, ensuring consistency in structure, execution, and alignment with business timelines and priorities.
  • Act as a process expert across one or more processes and ensure the intended execution by cross‑functional teams.
  • Assess understanding of processes, the systems used, and related milestones, identifying gaps and leading training efforts to embed processes into regular practice.
  • Recommend key process metrics that indicate process “health” and drive business results.
  • Monitor major cross‑functional processes, identify improvement opportunities, and analyze effectiveness and efficiency of related systems and workflows.
  • Work with the Sr. Process Manager or Business Process Owner to prioritize opportunities and lead improvement initiatives for significant business benefits.
  • Generate awareness and solution buy‑in from leaders, addressing existing problems and ensuring alignment across impacted processes and tools.
  • Partner with Change Management to sustain processes, support new process rollouts, and coach leaders and end users through the change curve.
  • Assess and articulate change impacts, present future state vision, and build the case for change.
  • Identify key project members and influencers to achieve change goals and ensure long‑term adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Partner with the IS organization on business process implementation efforts and manage the content and delivery of process documentation.
  • Provide updates to the organization (All Hands, Lunch & Learns, etc.) on process performance and redesigned processes.
  • Serve as facilitator, advisor, and coach to business areas, providing daily support and answering process questions.
  • Apply established project management methodologies, developing project definitions, timelines, milestones, role clarifications, and task assignments.
Skills and Qualifications
  • BA/BS required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, start‑up type environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills—capable of interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills across a wide range of audiences.
  • Knowledge of change management, with the ability to facilitate processes and gain stakeholder following.
  • Bias for action, driven to resolve issues and achieve project closure.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Self‑starter, able to function effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Understanding of group dynamics and proven ability to secure cooperation across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project and process management.
  • Basic knowledge of organizational change management (OCM) principles and best practices.
  • Strong computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
