Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise is seeking a Process Kit & Calibration Engineer to own lifecycle management of process kits and coordinate calibration activities supporting high-volume manufacturing.

You will partner with Equipment Engineers, bench technicians, and suppliers to ensure kits and calibrations are available, compliant, and aligned with production needs, driving continuous improvement and measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing required.
• Strong analytical skills to drive projects and Fab Ops improvements.
• Outstanding ability to coordinate across multiple teams and projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional continuous-improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle management of process kits, including tracking, staging, kitting, refurbishment, and disposition of Kits and Maintenance Parts.
• Coordinate kit readiness to support preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, and tool recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate kit records, locations, key metrics, and status in Micron tracking systems.
• Partner with Equipment Engineers and Bench teams to identify kit improvements, shortages, and standardization opportunities.
• Collect and report key operational metrics to support HVM readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
