Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Process Intelligence Specialist to advance digital procurement through process intelligence, automation, analytics, and AI.

You will analyze and document business processes, establish scalable standards, and design automation solutions delivering measurable value. You will use Celonis, Databricks, Power Platform, RPA, and AI to identify improvements, transform processes, and enable future AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in automation, analytics, systems development, or process improvement.
• Experience building or supporting technical solutions that improve business performance, efficiency, or data quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and standardize business processes to establish a foundation for optimization and automation.
• Use process intelligence tools such as Celonis to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design and build solutions using Databricks, PowerApps, Power Automate, RPA, AI, and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain workflow solutions, taxonomies, and supporting system structures.
• Create intuitive, user‑focused process documentation and experiences.
• Apply AI‑driven approaches to improve operational efficiency and decision‑making.
• Work with data and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable solutions.
