Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. degree in EE, EET or Physics or Engineering Physics.
• Strong knowledge of device physics and semiconductor physics.
• Experience with curve tracers and parametric test structures.
• Familiarity with WBG/SiC processes and 0.6 to 2 μm mixed-signal CMOS tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of cross-national collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement Projects focused on yield, cycle time, quality, capacity, and process robustness.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze manufacturing and electrical data, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and present project status, savings, and KPIs to management.

Job description

Functions / Duties:Responsible for driving Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) across X-FAB owned technologies processed in X-FAB Texas while maintaining process integration ownership and technical oversight of assigned technologies. The engineer will identify and execute improvement opportunities related to yield, cycle time, quality, capacity, cost reduction, manufacturability, and process robustness. The role serves as the technical interface between the fab, product engineering, process engineering, and customers to ensure sustainable continuous improvement while supporting technology integration activities.
