Sumiriko is seeking a Production Specialist for 2nd or 3rd shift to support manufacturing and process engineering at SRK-OH. The role emphasizes improving processes, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining quality standards across production lines.

The candidate will work with engineers during start-ups, operate and set up equipment, and develop countermeasures against abnormalities while designing jigs and fixtures as needed. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent training/experience required.
• Experience with manufacturing process improvements is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 quality standards desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Production Specialist

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Production Specialist reports to the Manager Production Engineer or Assistant Manager Production Engineer. Responsible for production and process engineering at SRK-OH. Will work with other SRK-OH associates on manufacturing process improvements and troubleshooting equipment and process problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and implement process improvements and assist engineers with work standards
• Work with Engineers during new product start-ups
• Operate and set-up all equipment and maintain manufacturing and quality standards for all processes
• Trouble-shooting and correcting equipment problems in cooperation with operators and maintenance associates
• Develop countermeasures against abnormalities
• Jig and fixture design and modification
• Work with other SRK-OH associates on manufacturing process improvements
• Develop manufacturing and operation standards
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems
