Job summary

A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Specialist for the 2nd shift from 1pm to 9:30pm. Job description

Production Specialist – 2nd Shift (1pm–9:30pm)

Pay: $17.50/hr, contract role for 3 months with possible extension, no benefits.

Schedule: 1pm–9:30pm EST (Mon–Fri)

Training: 5am–1:30pm (first 2 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot production machinery
• Perform equipment setup, changeover, and basic maintenance
• Follow SOPs, ISO, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing standards
• Conduct quality inspections and document results
• Work on a team and assist with training as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred (willing to train)
• Ability to read/understand QC documents and procedures
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals)
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend/kneel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
