Job summary
The Lubrizol Advanced Materials site in Gastonia, NC seeks a Process Improvement Manager to lead operational excellence, safety, quality, and cost improvements across manufacturing. You will guide technology deployment and oversee capital projects, coaching engineers and operators to drive sustained performance.
This leadership role requires strong manufacturing knowledge, people leadership, and experience in process safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Experience driving process improvements and technology implementations.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the site's Process Improvement work stream and roadmap.
- Develop technology plans aligned with objectives and deploy improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance through optimization.
- Lead capital and expense projects from concept to implementation.
- Provide process engineering leadership and troubleshoot issues.
- Deploy Lean, 5S, and structured problem solving across the site.
- Lead Process Safety Management initiatives and lifecycle planning.
