Job summary

PCI in Rockford, IL is seeking an Operations Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and reduce process variability. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma and data analytics to drive out waste and improve profitability.

You will partner with site leadership, develop SOPs, review batch records, and train cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree and 1–5 years of related experience are required; JD Edwards, OEE/MES, and Pilgrim experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Lean and Six Sigma training preferred.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with SMEs and leadership.
• Analyze data (OEE, uptime, scrap, margin, labor cost) to prioritize projects.
• Develop SOPs and standard work to sustain gains.
• Coach process owners to ensure lasting improvements.
• Audit new and existing processes to identify waste opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy lean solutions.
