Job summary

AgroFresh Inc. in Washington is seeking a Process Engineer to advance operational excellence at the Wapato site. The role combines manufacturing expertise with data-driven problem solving to deliver improvements in quality, yield, cost, and efficiency.

As a member of the site leadership team, you will coach colleagues, lead cross-functional initiatives, and support scale-up and new product development for sustainable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing or primary food production.
• Proficiency in inventory software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization to improve product quality, process yield, operating costs and efficiency.
• Scale up, daily process troubleshooting in manufacturing, and new product development.
• Develop and maintain site operating procedures contributing to safety, maintenance and quality control.
• Executes root cause analysis & DMAIC-type problem solving through data analysis of losses.
• Drive site-wide continuous improvement through coaching and cross-functional initiatives.
