Position Overview

The Process Improvement Manager acts as the Subject Matter Expert for McCormick's Process Improvement team. They lead the optimization and continuous improvement of shared services and business unit performance by enhancing process alignment. The role involves managing process improvements across projects of various sizes and scopes, across multiple regions and enterprise-wide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert, team member, and Project Lead on process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide counsel and leadership on strategic use of process improvement methodologies.
  • Define project scope, estimates, and objectives aligned with business needs and best practices.
  • Conduct process workshops for projects.
  • Develop roadmaps for GBS, regional, or global value streams.
  • Continuously seek improvement opportunities and challenge existing processes.
  • Drive change management, perform root cause analyses, and report findings.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Background in Business Administration and Process Improvement Methodology.
  • 8+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in Process Improvement or Project Management.
  • Experience with process and system implementations.
  • Proven ability to lead problem-solving processes and support projects.
  • Deep knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies and understanding of multiple business process capabilities and interdependencies, including international experience.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving and judgment abilities.
  • Ability to influence, delegate, monitor, and develop effective working relationships.
