Job Description Summary

The ideal location for this role is the Morris Plains, NJ site; however, remote working arrangements may be possible, subject to legal entity restrictions. Note that this role does not offer relocation assistance. If the employee is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to the Morris Plains site for periodic meetings will be at the employee’s expense. Working hours and travel expectations (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

Job Purpose

To provide recruitment operations, products, and services to US Operations and ensure the successful delivery of TAS programs and policies within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Ensure operational alignment of TAS strategic goals within a dedicated client group.
  2. Coordinate and support the implementation of recruitment strategies, processes, and services, including employer branding, D&I initiatives, online recruitment, talent mapping, and external talent pipeline management.
  3. Promote best practices in TAS processes such as sourcing, selection, and hiring, and recommend improvements.
  4. Identify innovative candidate sourcing methods and develop new recruitment and assessment tools based on market research, demonstrating strong client understanding and results-oriented approach.
  5. Provide recommendations on recruitment areas including resourcing needs analysis, market trends, candidate selection, vendor management, and recruitment metrics analysis.
  6. Establish relationships with global executive search agencies to access top candidates.
  7. Support budget planning discussions and SLA processes.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Science, Human Resources, or Psychology).
  2. At least 5+ years of relevant experience in agency/consulting or in-house recruitment, with a minimum of 2+ years supporting pharmaceutical or biotech Operations and Quality.
  3. Experience with full lifecycle recruitment using Workday.
  4. Ability to source passive candidates via niche websites, social media, ATS, etc.
  5. Strong understanding of organizational culture and relationship-building skills; prior Novartis TABP experience is preferred.
  6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, problem solver with high energy, excellent communication skills, and a customer-service mindset.

The salary range at the start of employment is expected to be between $93,800 and $174,200 per year. Salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 to 12/31/25, but may be adjusted due to market conditions. Final pay will depend on factors such as location, experience, and skills. The total compensation may include bonuses, stock units, and other benefits, including medical, financial, and paid time off benefits. Details will be provided upon offer. Employment is at-will, and the company reserves the right to modify compensation at any time.
