Ardagh Glass Packaging is seeking a Process Handler to maintain the cold end department, inspect in-process ware, reselect and repack items, and ensure equipment operates properly. The role rotates through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a manufacturing setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

Mansioni

• Visually examine and inspect in-process ware.
• Perform visual and specification inspections including spot checks using established sampling plan.
• Reselect and repack ware.
• Pull mold numbers or reselect molds on the lehr and perform various other duties assigned with line reselect.
• Unjam equipment, perform line flow, run samples and evaluate quality based on requirements.
• Make minor equipment adjustments where capable; e.g. wipe off a reflector.
• Load automatic carton equipment and assemble carton parts manually.
• Perform various duties associated with palletizer/unitizer/forklift operations.
• Operate baler, compactor, power sweeper, and empty glass hoppers to keep the packing room clean.

The Process Handler is responsible for maintaining the cold end department. This includes inspecting the in-process ware via both visual and specification inspections, reselecting and repacking ware, and ensuring the equipment is functioning properly.

Compensation and Schedule

The starting pay rate for this role is $25.76 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Rotating 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

Responsibilities

Visually examine and inspect in-process ware

Perform visual and specification inspections including spot checks using established sampling plan

Reselect and repack ware

Pull mold numbers or reselect molds on the lehr and perform various other duties assigned with line reselect

Minimum skills / qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment, or transferrable industry

Must be able to stand for 8 hours

Compensation
