Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Ottawa, KS is seeking a Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain to lead continuous improvement within our Distribution Center.

You will drive process improvements, reduce losses, and standardize best-in-class working methods using the Walmart Performance System (WPS). Collaborating with area and department leaders, you will analyze KPIs, manage top‑loss projects, and translate data into actionable savings while building long-term capability across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or related field required.
• 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Process/Value Stream Simulation and demonstrated project ownership leading to savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts for your functional area using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to reduce losses.
• Analyze KPIs, drive loss elimination activities, and create standard work to reduce variation.
• Manage top‑loss projects, identify savings opportunities, and support WPS integration.
• Apply One Best Way playbooks and provide feedback to improvement teams and area managers.
• Support WPS programs, associate engagement, KPI improvement, and deployment of WPS methodologies.
