Job summary

Walmart Distribution Center in Hope Mills, NC is seeking a Manager II, Process Engineer - Supply Chain to drive operational excellence through process improvement and data‑driven action.

You’ll own critical initiatives, reduce losses, and standardize best‑in‑class work using the Walmart Performance System, partnering with area leaders to build long‑term capability across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement
• Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills
• Process or Value Stream Simulation knowledge
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement efforts for your area using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses.
• Analyze KPIs, drive loss elimination activities, and create standard work to reduce variation.
• Manage top‑loss projects, identify savings, and support WPS integration through gap analysis and metrics reviews.
• Apply new playbooks, provide feedback to improvement teams, and assist area managers with projects.
• Support WPS programs, associate engagement, KPI improvement, and tactical deployment of WPS methodologies.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders, monitor progress, identify opportunities, and promote continuous learning.
