Job summary

Materion Corporation, located in Elmore, Ohio, invites a Continuous Improvement Leader to guide process control, cost, and quality improvements across engineering and operations. You will partner with Process Engineering, Operations, and Quality to define, measure, and drive DMAIC projects that boost yield, reduce cycle time, and cut waste.

You will mentor engineers, lead Yellow and Green Belt trainings, develop SOPs and training materials, and ensure EH&S and quality program compliance while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of experience in participating and leading continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead technical teams.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional CI projects to improve yield, cycle time, and cost.
• Coach engineers in Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC problem solving.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials for CI initiatives.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Operations and Quality to drive improvements.
• Track project status and communicate outcomes to leadership.
