Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Consultant, Process Improvement in the Business Performance team within Operational Excellence. This role focuses on identifying waste, reducing cost, and removing redundant steps to improve quality across multiple business units.

You will analyze complex processes, guide redesign, and implement improvements with influence across the organization. You will partner with executives and business partners to standardize workflows, design better processes, and drive

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in business process design or operations.
• Understanding of project management concepts and techniques.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, including virtual team leadership.
• Experience working with process vendors and external consultants.
• Certifications related to process design are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement process improvements across multiple business units.
• Lead root-cause analysis and process redesign initiatives.
• Collaborate with executives and functional leaders to standardize and simplify workflows.
• Evaluate tools and workflows and recommend improvements to increase quality and reduce cost.
• Mentor others in process design techniques and best practices.
