Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Process to lead process engineering and improvement activities within an assigned manufacturing area.

This role ensures safe, stable, and efficient production operations by guiding process performance, yield, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position leads Process Engineers and collaborates with Production, Equipment, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to resolve complex issues and drive manufacturing performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in process/manufacturing engineering.
• 3–6+ years in leadership/management within a technical environment.
• Experience with large-scale, high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Experience with process optimization, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience leading process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and improvement activities to support safe, stable, and high-quality operations.
• Monitor process performance, yield, quality, and productivity to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead resolution of complex process and quality issues using structured problem-solving.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process stability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational priorities.
• Support process validation, change management, and new manufacturing changes.
