Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. seeks a Process Engineer I to optimize ESS battery production through recipe setting, specification alignment, and process capability management. You will contribute to defect reduction and sustainment of high-quality mass production.

Lead efforts to improve yield and OEE, develop process documentation, and support production schedules while collaborating with technicians and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required; MBA or MS preferred.
• Experience in production technology is a plus, 1–3+ years preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze productivity, yield and OEE of assigned processes and departments.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to troubleshoot battery systems and optimize yield and OEE.
• Analyze quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Standardize and improve manufacturing processes by creating SOPs and conducting operator training.
