Job summary

You will gain hands-on experience supporting water and wastewater projects, learning process evaluation, design, and construction in a collaborative environment with engineers, designers, and technical specialists.

You will work under guidance to apply classroom knowledge, contribute to project deliverables, and develop skills in sustainable water solutions for local communities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on internship supporting water/wastewater projects across Arizona.
• Apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and technicians under guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in preparing work products for water/wastewater clients.
• Assist with evaluations of treatment alternatives and facility improvements.
• Apply knowledge to projects involving treatment facilities, water reuse, pipelines and pump stations.
• Organize and summarize technical data and field records.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Support site visits and construction observations as needed.
• Learn Stantec design standards and common process engineering tools.
• Develop knowledge of sustainable water solutions for communities in Phoenix and Arizona.
• Prepare calculations and presentation materials with guidance.
