AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. is seeking a Process Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Bothell, WA. You will assist process and mechanical engineers with the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial systems for power plants, including PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.

The role emphasizes preparing technical reports and participating in project planning, with opportunities for mentorship and hands-on experience in a global engineering network.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required if you are enrolled in an ABET-accredited associate's or bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a mechanical or chemical engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic data entry into spreadsheets or databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist process and mechanical engineers in the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial systems and equipment for power plants.
• Support the development and review of PFDs, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation to communicate project findings and recommendations.
• Participate in project planning activities, including scheduling, material tracking, and progress monitoring.
