Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Bothell, WA. You will learn to interpret P&IDs, schematics, and loop diagrams, review drawings for accuracy, and update data in engineering databases under mentorship.

Required: 60 hours toward an ABET-accredited engineering degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD experience is a plus. Competitive internship with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours toward a chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams.
• Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy.
• Maintain and update data in engineering databases or software tools.
• Under mentorship, learn instrumentation sizing, valve design, and control logic concepts.
