Primient is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to contribute to process optimization and safety improvements in a manufacturing setting. You will work on lab-scale and plant-scale projects, update documentation, and support automation efforts while learning the full engineering lifecycle.

The role offers an housing stipend and a starting pay of $24.00/hr with potential overtime and advancement through a pay-for-skill system.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab-scale and plant-scale testing for ion exchange and malic crystallization optimization.
• Update P&IDs to reflect current plant configurations.
• Identify and implement safety improvements within the facility.
• Assist in automating crude solution filtration processes.
