Haskell in Frisco, TX is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead design projects from proposal through closeout. You will guide a design team, ensuring quality and compliance with prime contracts, with an emphasis on process engineering.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or architecture, 8+ years of experience, and professional registration is preferred. PMP certification is desirable but not required; travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience leading to independent design lead.
• Professional registration or eligible preferred; PMP cert desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of architectural/engineering systems and design modeling.
• Proficiency with drawing production software; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with all Prime Contract requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and update a design schedule and inform the team of changes.
• Prequalify design consultants for project work.
• Prepare design consultant agreements to minimize risk to the company.
• Evaluate changes affecting scope and schedule and communicate impacts.
• Prepare clear, concise project communications (oral and written).
• Build positive client relationships and maintain trust with stakeholders.
• Promote safe work practices in both design and field.
• Facilitate design reviews to meet project quality objectives.
• Use PM tools in line with company policies from proposal to close-out.
• Forecast and report project financial performance with leaders.
• Solicit input for fee proposals and change orders; travel as required.
