Job summary

Haskell is seeking a Design Program Manager to lead healthcare project design efforts across multiple disciplines from proposal through closeout. You will guide the design team, ensure compliance with contracts, and manage schedules, risks, and client relations to deliver high-quality design outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering or architecture, 10+ years in design management, and familiarity with PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience as a design manager.
• Healthcare experience in a client-facing position is desirable.
• Professional registration or eligibility preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of drawing production software and integration requirements for complete project modeling.
• Intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing timelines and meet deadlines with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Guides career development, monitors workload and conducts performance discussions.
• Ensures compliance with Prime Contract requirements.
• Develops and maintains a sequenced project design schedule; informs team of changes.
• Prequalifies design consultants; prepares service agreements to minimize risk.
• Evaluates changes affecting project scope and schedule.
• Prepares concise project communications, oral and written.
• Builds client relationships and seeks future work.
• Maintains commitment to safe work practices in design and field.
• Facilitates design reviews to achieve quality objectives.
• Uses PM tools compliant with company policies from proposal to close-out.
• Forecasts and reports project financial performance with leadership.
• Solicits input for fee proposals or change orders.
• Travel up to 30%.
