Job summary

MetOx International in Houston, TX, is seeking a fall Process Engineering Co‑op/Intern to join our team. This hands-on role offers exposure to production processes, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within advanced manufacturing.

You'll work with seasoned engineers on DOE studies, live defect testing with SEM/EDX/XRD, and contribute to safety and documentation, gaining real-world experience in energy-security technologies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with SEM, EDX, optical microscopy, or XRD.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma; data analysis fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate DOE studies and track product flow.
• Collect samples, test, and document results.
• Perform statistical data analysis on DOE results.
• Participate in root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and observe safety protocols.
