Job summary

INFICON, a leader in instrumentation and process control solutions, offers a co-op/intern position to support the Operations Engineering Team. The role emphasizes creating clear procedure documents, aiding engineers in root-cause analysis, and proposing improvements for production processes during the 2027 spring/summer/fall semesters.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering/Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Create clear and detailed procedure documents for production technicians.
• Assist engineers with root-cause analysis and with developing robust solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Identify inefficiencies in production processes and propose/implement improvements.
• Update and maintain manufacturing process documents.
• Assist with returning failed products to suppliers through RTV process.
• Participate in data collection and failure analysis studies.
