GE Vernova is seeking a Process Engineering Co-op in the METEM team to help stabilize and optimize non-traditional machining processes in gas turbine components. You will work on ECM, EDM, and FHD projects, supporting engineering development and process improvements within a collaborative shop environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering program with a 3.0 GPA, interested in manufacturing technology, and capable of data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• Accepted majors: Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering; minimum 3.0 GPA (unrounded).

Responsabilités

• Technical Troubleshooting: address issues in complex process equipment to reduce variation in quality and performance.
• Parameter Optimization: deepen process knowledge to improve parameters and reduce cycle times.
• Process Documentation: maintain standards, codes, and procedures for stable, repeatable production.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with manufacturing and quality teams to implement improvements.
• Data Analysis: apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to evaluate performance and lead small-scale improvement projects.
