Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Coatings Special Process Engineer to drive development and industrialization of coating technology for gas turbine components. You will work with global centers to improve fulfillment, cost out, and new product introductions while prioritizing safety and lean principles.
The role requires 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing, deep coating know-how, and the ability to travel up to 15%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering/manufacturing/supply chain experience.
- 2+ years experience related to repair or coating of high temperature metals.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to RVS and global manufacturing centers on coating processes.
- Lead development and continuous improvement of coating programs for fulfillment and NPI.
- Ensure processes meet specifications, focusing on quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, services, and engineering teams.
- Support Lean process development and lean manufacturing execution.
