Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Bedford, MA is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season (6 months).

You will assist the process engineer with process improvements, SOP maintenance, training, and on-the-line troubleshooting to support day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include updating SOPs, data mining in Minitab, yield analysis, lean and safety improvements from Gemba walks, and membrane characterization testing.

Qualifications

• Data-driven and hands-on approach.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Pursuing engineering degree (chemical/mechanical or similar).
• Currently enrolled as a student.
• 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, Jan–June.
• Familiar with co-op program requirements.

Job Title: Process Engineering Co-Op

The Role

Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

In this role, you will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day-to-day troubleshooting and work on the line. Typical improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output.

What You’ll Do

• Develop plan for updating SOPs as needed
• Data mining and analysis in Minitab
• Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis
• Perform yield analysis
• Participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements
• Perform membrane characterization testing

What We Seek

• Data-driven and hands-on approach
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
• Desired Major(s): Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical or similar engineering
• Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program
