ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations, focusing on torque tooling and vision systems to ensure reliable production processes.

The role involves hands-on work on the shop floor, implementing and sustaining torque tools, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with torque tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding torque processes and validating torque against requirements.
• Experience supporting, sustaining, or troubleshooting torque tooling and related processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing vision systems and how lighting affects performance.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and sustaining of torque tools within manufacturing operations.
• Measure and validate torque to meet defined process requirements.
• Troubleshoot torque tooling and related process issues impacting production.
• Investigate process deviations and identify potential root causes.
• Support ongoing process reliability and production readiness.
• Support the implementation of new machines, tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during equipment implementation and production ramp-up.
• Work through technical issues to bring equipment to production-ready status.
• Provide ongoing sustaining support once equipment is operational.
