Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to support torque tools and vision systems in our manufacturing environments. You will implement, validate, sustain, and troubleshoot production processes, ensuring torque requirements are met and systems perform reliably.

You will work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive process improvements, ramp new equipment, and train operators while applying Lean principles across production lines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with torque tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical understanding of torque processes and measuring/validating torque against defined requirements.
• Experience supporting, sustaining, or troubleshooting torque tooling and related manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing vision systems and how lighting/environment affects performance.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and production process issues.
• Willingness to learn new processes and technologies and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and sustaining of torque tools within manufacturing operations.
• Measure and validate torque to ensure defined process requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot torque tooling and process issues impacting production.
• Investigate process deviations and root causes.
• Support vision systems and lighting considerations to maintain reliability.
• Assist with equipment implementation, ramp-up, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
