Job summary

MOHR Talent is hiring a Process Engineer for machining in Caledonia, MI. The role focuses on hands-on CNC programming, process optimization, and continuous improvement to drive efficiency and quality. Day shift, in-person, full-time with competitive benefits.

You will program Swiss CNC lathes, interpret blueprints with GD&T, select tooling, and mentor operators to raise team performance in a world-class facility serving aerospace and medical industries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience programming Swiss CNC lathes.
• Proficiency in Esprit CAD/CAM.
• Experience with aerospace and medical manufacturing requirements.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, cycle times, and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and cost.
• Program and set up Swiss CNC lathes using Esprit CAD/CAM.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Choose tooling, speeds, and feeds for complex components.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Train and support operators to build team skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with production and quality to meet aerospace and medical standards.
