Job summary

Baisch Engineering Inc. is seeking a driven Process Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, industry-leading firm.

You will work alongside design engineers to analyze systems with AutoPipe, PipeFlo, Wingems, and CadSIM while learning PFDs, PIDs, and pump calculations. You will assist in preparing construction drawings with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated projects for heavy industrial and pulp & paper

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in one of the listed engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers to analyze systems using industry software.
• Learn basics of PFDs, PIDs, pump calculations, and building air balances.
• Assist in developing construction drawing sets using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate projects from concept to completion.
• Develop an understanding of mechanical systems in heavy industrial environments.

If So, We Are Looking For Driven, Goal-oriented People Like You To Join Our Team As a Process Engineering Intern. Here’s What You Will Need To Do

• Work alongside design engineers to analyze systems using discipline-specific software packages such as AutoPipe for stress analysis, PipeFlo for pump sizing, and Wingems or CadSIM for mass balances
• Learn the basics of heavy industrial Process Engineering such as; Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Piping Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), Pump Calculations, Building Air Balances and Calculations
• Assist in the development of construction drawing sets utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks as part of our team on awide rangeof industrial projects from brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities to small system upgrades and everything in between
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to generate seamlessly coordinated projects that make our clients’ projects a huge success
• Develop an understanding of mechanical systems, supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries
