Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Custom Spray Process Engineer in Norwood, MA to own the spray coating process, support daily operations, and resolve manufacturing issues. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and engineering to improve throughput and quality while ensuring GMP and ISO 13485 compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device industry strongly preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of GMPs, ISO 13485, and equipment validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience working with MRP systems.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing data, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the custom spray coating manufacturing process and serve as technical owner.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and scale operations through automation and new technologies.
• Develop work instructions and train operators across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and engineering to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
