The Custom Spray Process Engineer serves as the technical owner of custom coating and spray manufacturing processes, supporting both prototype development and production operations. This individual is responsible for identifying process bottlenecks, prioritizing improvements, and implementing solutions that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, the Process Engineer will lead continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate new technologies, drive automation efforts, and support the transition of new products from prototype to production. Because the organization operates in a highly customized manufacturing environment, this role requires a hands‑on engineer who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment, developing maintenance programs, creating manufacturing documentation, and establishing best practices for one‑of‑a‑kind processes and equipment.
