Job summary

Entegris in Danbury, CT is seeking a Senior Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering to support Advanced Coatings operations, drive process improvements, troubleshoot production and equipment issues, and implement solutions that enhance quality, reliability and efficiency.

You will collaborate across teams to execute projects, maintain process documentation, and leverage data to support continuous improvement and operational excellence in an on-site lab and office environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
5-7 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience with equipment control systems, automation, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
Ability to use SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma with statistical software (Minitab).
On-site work in a lab and office environment.
Experience with MES/ERP and MS Office.
Experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor.
Clean room experience a plus; handling of toxic materials.

Responsibilities

Support Advanced Coating processes; monitor health, deviations, and maintain process documentation.
Investigate root causes and drive corrective actions to completion.
Implement improvements to lower cost and improve quality and reliability.
Lead critical projects with on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support operations and maintenance teams to address reliability issues and prevent recurrence.
Lead equipment reliability projects and OEE improvement efforts.
Create and train operators on maintenance work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
Use data to drive predictive maintenance and detect equipment changes.
