Clariant Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Americas in process development, scale-up, and optimization of specialty chemical production. You will translate lab developments into commercial processes, evaluate technologies, and deliver design packages for CAPEX projects.

You will work with R&D, Engineering and business units to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and budgets, while protecting IP and handling confidential information.

Formación

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant work experience (PhD candidates: at least 2 years).
• Experience in process development, lab-to-commercial scale-up, and process technology.
• Knowledge of unit operations and specialty chemicals production.
• Familiarity with FEL stage-gate processes and capital project deliverables.
• Proven project management, leading interdisciplinary teams, and budgeting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process development, scale-up, and optimization from lab to commercial production.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams across Americas.
• Evaluate unit operations and select energy- and cost-efficient technologies.
• Prepare Process Design Packages and FEL-stage deliverables for CAPEX projects.
• Define scope, align stakeholders, and manage timelines and budgets.
